My internship with costume and production department at Deutsche Oper Berlin, Germany for the production LASH, a contemporary opera by Rebecca Saunders that premiered in 2025. 

 

Based on a poetic text by Ed Atkins, the three-act opera explores themes of loss, love, and loneliness through a woman's memories and near-death experience. 

 

It was my first time working at a theater, I worked and learned under the guidance of costume & stage designer Nina Wetzel, and stage director Dead Centre. The internship was a transformative experience for me — from the creative process to the backstage teamwork.
